Volunteer Training Day — Hamilton

This Covid-safe training event will be held in the Bandicoot Room of the Hamilton Institute of Rural Learning (HIRL). It is open to all volunteers who are keen to get involved in canvassing on behalf of the Dyson for Wannon campaign (door-knocking, staffing a polling booth, etc.) You'll be briefed on the campaign platform and priorities, and receive training on how to run a persuasive conversation, before taking a break for some morning tea. We'll then head out in pairs for some door-knocking practice, followed by a group debrief.

Please wear a mask and your campaign t-shirt, if you have one — if you don't, you'll be able to buy one on the day for $30. All other resources and information will be provided.
